My Testimony |
I was going to revival services at Yuma Baptist Church. I felt a lot of burden in my heart. Mrs. Lewis would talk to me and she helped me to the altar. I was saved the second day and it didn't take long for the burden to leave my heart. I stood up and I saw a light that covered part of the church. The light was brighter than the sun. It was beautiful. I didn't hear a sound. I remember I was happy and the burden was gone.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"
[Psalms 27:1]
Mary has experienced the light that David sang about and the happiness that it brings through salvation. She now has the assurance that Jesus Christ is her Lord and her preserver.
