My Testimony

 

When I was young I went to a lot of revivals. One night when I was attending a revival at Mount Comfort Baptist Church, I wanted to go to the altar, but something was holding me back. After several nights, I went to the altar. People were shouting and praying, but I knew I had to do this myself. I prayed and after a while I knew I had been saved and I began to shout. It was a wonderful feeling.

"But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee."
[Psalms 5:11]

Karen has put her faith in Jesus Christ who gives us a joyful heart and a peace that nothing else can give. She has the knowledge that Christ is her constant companion and faithful friend. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntingdon.
