Willodean Norwood Born Again: July of 1929 Place: Mount Nebo Baptist Church Age: 13

Her Testimony I was saved during a revival meeting at Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista. Our revivals would go on from Wednesday until a week from the following Friday with morning and evening services. We attended most every time. People would get happy and shout and I wanted to be happy like them. I was convicted of my sins and went to the altar several times, but nothing happened. One day I went up and something did happen. The Lord changed my life! I didn't shout, but I was happy. I remember that special day and I could go back to the very place where it happened although the old church house is gone and a new one stands in its place. I love the Lord because He has done so much for me.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. [Romans 10:9-10]

Willodean was a dedicated Christian lady whose life exemplifies her belief in the principles of her faith.
She was faithful to her church and to her Lord and she always had a smile for everyone.

Willodean went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2015.
